We needed to get emergency health insurance for our family to cover accidents and sudden illnesses. A job loss led to our lack of coverage. ELP stressed that this insurance did not meet ACA guidelines – he did not want us to buy it and think we were escaping tax penalties. We assured him we understood, and he found a plan that would cover us until the end of December. He said he will get back in touch with us in November so as to have plenty of time to set up our family health insurance for 2016. We appreciate his and his team for getting back to us so quickly, explaining our situation as it would be seen by the ACA, and helping us get the emergency health insurance we need. A big relief to us.
